James accidentally catches a train while chasing a thief who has stolen his bag. After learning of this, his friends on the other side of town plot to ambush the thief by calling James' cell phone, and convincing the thief that he has won a contest. Meanwhile, the phone, which was actually lost and not stolen, is retrieved by another person who falls for the trap.
